And Away We Go!

To all of my current and future friends, WELCOME! Thank you for taking the time to visit. I hope you’ve enjoyed what you’ve seen so far and I hope to one day become your partner in the day-to-day battle to generate alpha. Not only am I THRILLED to be able to share my methods with you, I am also incredibly fortunate to have this opportunity.

I absolutely love my craft. There’s simply no other way to put it. After 20 years of analyzing the financial markets, I am so lucky to be able to say that I still wake up each day with a fire in my belly and a desire to learn something new, even if it means getting my butt kicked by the market in the process.

Like Hyman Roth said to Michael Corleone in the 1972 classic, The Godfather, “This is the business we’ve chosen!” This industry presents many challenges, but facing and learning from those challenges is what makes us better at what we do. I cherish the fact that I have been able to experience a host of different market conditions under the direction of some incredibly brilliant economists, money managers and traders.

Let’s face it, market participants both need and deserve more from their technical research. Traditional trend and pattern analysis simply do not cut it on their own anymore. Professional traders and money managers need to know the regime-related volatility risks that accompany discretionary market signals. They must also understand the probability-based price limits both leading into and following economic and fundamental events. Investor relations representatives gain an advantage by knowing their industry's regime-related performance, smoothing and volatility characteristics surrounding earnings and other key corporate windows.

My experience as an analyst with a $3 billion equity mutual fund, as a chief technical analyst at an economic research firm, and as a technical strategist on an institutional bond desk has allowed me to develop proprietary methods that complement discretionary technical principles by quantifying expectations within a fundamental framework.

It’s been a long and incredibly rewarding journey to get Extract Analytics to where it is today. The research I provide is data-intensive, and therefore a significant amount of thought and testing goes into what is being produced. As things come up to scale, though, there is an opportunity for those who are willing to get in on the ground floor. Specifically, all new subscribers to the Extract Essentials plan will be grandfathered in at $59/month for a product that will return to $179/month at the end of September 2020.

There you have it. Please reach out if you have any comments or suggestions.
